Bob has enjoyed a very distinguished career as an entrepreneur and senior level financial
executive. As an entrepreneur, Bob successfully launched Southwest Beverages®, a
manufacturer and marketer of Sippity® hot cocoa mix and Kemosabe® gourmet flavored
coffee, Stuff For Everyone™ and HJS Clothing®. Bob currently serves as the Chief
Executive Officer of Harper Jenkins Scobie Enterprises and each of its subsidiaries, HJS
Clothing®, Southwest Beverages® and Stuff For Everyone™.
Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Bob had the privilege of working for some of
America’s largest and well run public and private companies-Philip Morris, Canada Dry,
Dr Pepper, Cadbury Schweppes, Snapple Beverage Corporation, Tasker Capital Corp.
and MDO group of New York City fine dining restaurants-The Water Club, The River
Café, Laura Belle and Pershing Square Café, all in various capacities as Finance
Manager, Controller, Director of Finance, Vice President Finance & Administration,
Chief Financial Officer, Secretary & Treasurer. In addition, Bob served as a member of
Snapple International, Cadbury International, Tasker Capital Corp. and MDO
Development Corp. Executive Board of Management and was a member of Cadbury
Beverages Corporate Finance Committee.
Among his many accomplishments, Bob was the principal architect responsible for the
growth of Snapple’s international business into 35 countries in 15 months, the
reorganization and development of Cadbury’s international beverage business through
the acquisitions of such well known brands as Orange Crush, Squirt, Sunkist and
Orangina, to name a few, and is credited with the national roll out of Barrelhead Root
Beer and the development of Canada Dry, Schweppes and Clamato in 67 international
markets.
Bob holds a Master of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University
of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of
Arizona. He resides with his wife, Susan, in Oro Valley, Arizona.
